Postholder will be required to participate in the On Call Rota.

Job Description

To assist Hexagon Group Limited to launch a new service providing mobile app development. The individual will be required to take on full responsibility upon employment.

The Company is looking for an individual who possesses the following:

  • Highly-motivated with extensive knowledge particularly in the Mobile App development field as well as IT services;
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in the IT field is preferred but not required;
  • Fluent in written and oral English is required;
  • Competent in using Java, Objective C ad C++;
  • Ability to work independently and work well in a team;
  • Solve problems with senior Technician/Team Leader.

The scope of responsibilities includes:

  • Keep users informed regarding status of outstanding problems;
  • Provide IT support to customers and other technical teams ensuring systems are maintained and supported to the highest standards;
  • Work in accordance with service level agreements set by the Board of Directors;
  • To ensure that all support calls and requests are dealt with appropriately in accordance with defined policies and procedures;
  • Daily contact will be required to respond to user support calls in line with service agreements; to provide technical support in identifying software and hardware problems;
  • To communicate technical issues to a non-technical person and owning the problem through to satisfactory resolution for the user in relation to "MAD";
  • Liaise by telephone, email, written and in person with third party suppliers
